Reflux issues

How much is normal for baby to sick up after a feed? I breastfeed but also express and feed through a bottle and my baby is sick after both, often multiple times over a period of up to an hour. Sometimes it looks like the whole amount comes back up again. Wondering if anyone has any advice? It doesn’t really upset him too much so it doesn’t seem to be causing pain, but it’s a lot of washing. 😂 I’ve tried pace feeding / burping half way through / keeping upright for 30 mins after feeding etc but it still comes back up! 😔 not sure if it’s normal or if I should be going to GP?

I think if baby is gaining weight and thriving and is not to bothered by it then they tend not to medicate. My daughter is quite sicky but not to fussed and I agree keeping upright doesn't seem to make any difference!

I’ve been to the GP today and they said it’s normal as long as baby is gaining weight and doesn’t seem distressed by it. They said if he seems to be in pain, go back. My daughter was on medication for reflux as a baby but she was visibly in pain after feeds. I feel you with the washing! Baby boy has just sicked over my clean bed sheets within half an hour 😅

I have the exact same and I went to the GP. My baby is 4 weeks today. Went to GP a week ago. GP said some babies have immature stomachs and it just happens. In time it will get better as stomach muscles mature. She prescribed baby gavison but said it can cause constipation so we’ve left it. Just deal with the constant sick. Mine is exactly like yours - sometimes looks like whole amount , has bottles and boobs , sick with both , and can keep coming over the hour
