Early scan

I just had my early scan last night. 7+3 weeks. CRL 11.5mm

Gosh - I’m quite worried about mine then! Mine was only 1.9mm and I’m supposedly 6 weeks

Yeah it’s weird because the sonographer said “I’ve no concerns” but looking online that seems absolutely tiny! Also, with my other pregnancies I have felt totally awful being sick at this stage along with other symptoms… this time I literally don’t have a single symptom!!

Also, my three boys have all been big! My biggest being 11lbs… tempted to book another scan privately to see if progressing ok xx

I had a early scan thinking I was 6 weeks- was only 2mm and sonographer said from the measurements I was more like 5 and to come back in 2 weeks. (Also had no symptoms so was worried as I’ve also felt sick before and had nothing) came back and baby was there with a heartbeat.. fast forward to 12 week scan and midwife dated me forward a week meaning I would’ve been 6 weeks at the initial scan! I think they just grow at different rates I really wouldn’t worry xxx

Ahhhh ok thank you Maisie, I’m hoping that will be the case for me. It’s just such a long wait to 12 weeks isn’t it!!

@Caroline it is a long wait, I would go back when you’re supposed to be around 8 and a half weeks. It’s really just worth the reassurance 🤍
