When is the best time to express milk? Between feeds or during a feed? My baby only drinks from one breast at each feed so left boob now and next feed right boob and so on., I don’t want to increase my supply I just want to keep some of it in freezer for emergencies or outings in case I go somewhere I don’t want to feed from boob. My supply regulated about a month ago so am never engorged now, just leaky every now and then.

Hakkaa or any other passive milk collector in the other breast while feeding especially in the morning with the first feed built an entire stash for my friend and she was also able to donate some to a friend with twins!
