Hip pain

I am in so much pain I had pelvis pains with my first but this is so much worse I haven’t slept in days now I constantly have pins and needles in my legs. Nothing seems to be helping 😩 if anything just getting worse. I’ve tried doing stretches (similar to yoga) warm baths before bed, paracetamol, pillow between legs. Doesn’t help I’m chasing a 10 month old around all day too 😅 Does anyone have any suggestions that might possibly help?

I’ve even considered buying a new mattress although this one isn’t even a year old 🫣

I had so much pain and a numb feeling in my legs when sleeping and then I bought the bbHugme pregnancy pillow and it’s been such a change. I have had no pain at all or a numb feeling.

Can you ask to be referred to maternity physio ?

Yeh maternity pillow doesn’t help either. I tried these with my first the only thing that actually worked was pillow between my legs. I think I’m going to ring midwife today my only issue is I have no child care so I’ve tried just doing stuff I can do from home but I can’t cope with 9 more weeks of this 🫣

Same girl same…

@Aleena just keep telling ourselves it will all be worth it 😅

I keep tryna convince myself it’ll pass in a week or so 🤣 I can dream loool

Iv been like this for weeks now! Had it with my first too it’s honestly hell💀

Yeh I’ve now got to a point that I’m struggling to get out of bed 😩

I've been to physio this week for pelvic girdle pain and was told that pins and needles in the legs would be a sign to watch out for as a concern (I have them but only when sitting for long periods which he said was normal). I would definitely request a referral to physio, I actually found my appointment really helpful and he's given me some exercises to do daily to help with my pain and also identified exactly where the issue is.

Same here and had it in my first pregnancy too. Best advice I had was from a friend to make the bed as soft as possible. I used a folded double duvet on my side under the sheet. I also found pillows between my knees helped and sleeping sitting up when I could relieved the pressure. I've found that being more active in this pregnancy has really helped as the pain has only just started to ramp up now at 26 weeks, but in my first pregnancy I was dying from about 20.
