Lol, I think that light starts to shine a bit around one year 😅
Congratulations on your baby! If your light shines sooner than 4 months, please come back with your secret because I'm still exhausted. Nobody told me how hard it is to make schedules and train babies
I really struggled emotionally the first week, I’m now on week 3 and things are starting to make a bit more sense, even tho it’s still early days for us, it does get slightly easier each week. (So far 🤣🫣🙈)
I'm on week 4 and finally starting to get a little more sleep at night as he's now allowing me to put him down. I'm breastfeeding and have found it very hard at times and cried and been emotional but always feels a little better in the morning but have had night time anxiety as well so you're not alone. Like Robyn said you're still recovering, that's what we have to remember. The now is exhausting and the labour and leading up also will have been as well so you feel like you don't catch-up, but you will. You've got this xxx
Hey there! It’s real, girl. It’s ok to be exhausted - you’ve just brought a human into the world and now that human wants to eat, eat, eat 😵💫! Things will get better. You’ll develop more stamina and bubs will figure out what ‘routine’ is 😄. Try to rest whenever you can (easier said than done, I know) even if it’s just a powernap. The dishes can wait. Also see if there’s some way you can have some meals prepared for you - a friend or a catering company or something. Try to delegate as much as possible, hun. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I'm 5 weeks in and the same! Baby sleeps well too. Have to remember you are still recovering, still hormones everywhere and it's a lot!
