Breast milk turned clear
Hi I’m expecting my 2nd but still nursing my first (17months)
I’ve noticed my breastmilk is coming out very slow and also on one side it’s turned clear.
Does anyone know what this is. I read online clear discharge could be a sign of breast cancer but I’m not sure because I’m breastfeeding and pregnant.

I'm guessing it could be your body building up colostrum.
@Celina I know right 😭 aah ok that makes sense. I think it’s reduced drastically but I’m not ready to stop breastfeeding yet 🥺
The only way I could stop breastfeeding was when I was more than ready! Just follow your mommy instincts!
@Vanessa that’s what I thought initially but it’s quite early isn’t it? And I thought normally it’s more of a golden colour 🤷🏻♀️

Oh my gosh the internet can churn out intense stuff! My breastmilk turned clear and I looked online and your milk can turn clear when it builds up if you haven't nursed longer than you're used to.
