Are we waking to change nappy at night?

My LO has finally started sleeping longer stretches at night 🙏🏽 however I’ve noticed in the morning his nappy is so wet! He wakes twice to be fed approx 0200 and 05.00, I change his nappy both times. I know it’s crazy but now I’m thinking should I wake him to change his nappy? I just feel so bad in the morning when I change it and it’s so full 😅

I only change my girls nappy if she has pooed or she wakes up and cont settle back down.

Personally I don’t wake my son to just change him during the night, I change when he’s wakes for his feeds like you have said above, when he’s just stirring while the bottles warming. He usually wakes the 2nd time between 4-5 am and then again at 7am so is only in the nappy for 2-3 hours and it can appear very full but I just feel he’d let me know if he wasn’t comfortable, and I personally feel there isn’t much difference to going 2-3 hrs between changes in the daytime if that makes sense.

I felt the exact same as I didn’t want her getting nappy rash. I don’t wake her, I just make sure I put a ticker barrier nappy cream on before bed and then change her when she wakes for her next feed xx

I changed my first borns nappy multiple times a night. This is my second baby and there's no way I'm doing that hahaha she's 10 weeks old and I put a nappy and some cream on at 11pm and I don't change it until we get up in the morning, 6 or 7am.

I always change our boy regardless as it is only an extra 5 minutes. I just personally don’t want him laying in an uncomfortable wet nappy or getting a bad rash.
