Breastfeeding toddlers

How’ve you found breastfeeding your toddler? My milk has reduced a lot, and my 1.5 yo will nurse in the morning and before bed. I don’t want it to dry up 😢

It's unlikely to just dry up at this point, your supply tends to adapt! Toddlers don't tend to nurse often. I know people who nursed about 4-5 times a week and still had milk. My girl will be 1.5 next month and nurses in the morning, before nap and at bedtime too. Sometimes she skips one or two of those feeds too.

My Babygirl is almost 17 months, breastfeed before naps, and during the night still 2 to 4 times every night, now thay she is sick, much often, but I think will keep the supply as much as you breastfeed, I'd like to reduce, but I guess she wont let me for a while

My kids at 3.5 and 2 and oldest nurses maybe 1/2 times a week and my youngest about once a day. I’m still producing. It’s all about supply and demand. Your body will adjust to the needs of baby/toddler.

The flow is really slow. He’s been on for almost an hour sometimes so I tried hand compressing, and only a bit came out. That’s when I started freaking out. He’s on for that long because there’s not much there. Whereas before he’d be on for 10-15 mins and be happy.
