When we looked on Facebook marketplace it was Flooded with them. We ended up with one of those fancy £300 ones for £40.

I guess it depends on what type of rocking chair you're looking for, but I got this one from The Range https://www.therange.co.uk/furniture/armchairs/rocking-chair-roca/#4372913 Facebook is definitely the best place where to find them cheap though, I just couldn't find one like this and my birthday was coming up 😅 Also The Range does have some others at a reasonable price
Do you have a Smyths store near you? They had some there on sale when I went Christmas shopping last week x

Another vote for market place. I got one when my daughter was born 2.5 years ago & about to use again. It cost £50.
Have you checked gumtree they usually some nice ones there
