My baby is 6 weeks. Would not sleep in next to me crib. The rocking cot at hospital was a bit more successful. She also naps during day in a dock a tot which has been very useful. But during night she is sleeping in bed with us (co sleeping ) . The lullaby trust website has info on how to do it safely… and there is a Facebook group for co sleeping UK. We were finding that we were holding her and fighting sleep ourselves into early hours and it was dangerous so did research into safe co sleeping xx
My baby is 7 weeks old and has been sleeping in his bassinet since day 1. He has gradually went from waking every 2 hours to now sleeping pretty consistently 6 plus hours a night… I’m ready to put him in his crib, but I’m not ready for him to be up all night so for now, bassinet it is
My boy 8 weeks. He has been sleeping in his bassinet from the night he was born. We have a pretty consistent night time routine where we do the exact same things at the same time every night. He is now sleeping 7 to 10 hour overnight stretches without a wake up. He eats a lot during the day though. I think what works for us is having the consistent and predictable routine. I had the same routine with my first baby and she was doing 7pm to 7am by 10 weeks old without any wakings. At this age it is very normal and age appropriate to be waking up constantly so I wouldn't worry too much. Some babies just need a little bit more help at night. You're doing great!
Mine does that if she wasn't full before going to bed. they do most of their growing at night so may just be extra hungry and cluster feeding. Could try topping up with a bottle!
