Has anyone gone to get checke doit for reduced movements?

I’m going to cal the hospital if I haven’t felt anything in the next 30 mins. I’ve felt a few letterings today but not my usual kicks. Just wondered what the process is like. I have anxiety so just using this for extra info, not trying to replace medical opinion.

I've been twice now in a space of 10 days and baby was absolutely fine but now they have put me to go in twice a week to do ctg and I'm going this afternoon. My hospital has been so good and so supportive and they said absolutely any changes you just go in and see them. They said even if it feels like the kicks have gone from strong to a feather like kick thats reduced movement so just go in to be safe. If you know in your gut it's different to normal just go. I feel so much better for doing it.

I’ve been in twice now. Again I had felt movement but wasn’t my usual! They hook you up to the monitor, give a button to push when you feel movement & check your urine and BP. Always call, I told myself I’d rather go and him to be ok than to wait & not or to think next time “ he was ok last time” x

I went with my first once and literally just as I got there she started going mental in my belly 🫣 they just checked her heart rate and I was on my way again. However they did say always get checked if you are worried even if it might be nothing it’s better to go every day! They’d rather see you than you worry x

I've been to my local maternity unit once for reduced movement and once to the hospital maternity for reduced movements in the space of 1.5 weeks. They're always lovely and say no matter what if you feel something off to get checked. They'd rather you be okay than leave it and there be an issue. I was told even if it's night or evening to call and no leave it till the next day xx

I went to triage a week ago late at night and cannot recommend enough, they hook you up to a machine to check everything ok and then the day after I went for a scan. I also spoke to a consultant as well as a midwife (not sure if this is because I’m high risk) but both answered all my questions and really reassured me. I felt a little silly afterwards as turned out that baby had just moved position but every single person stressed how responsible and sensible I was to come in which made me feel so much better! They made a point of saying if didn’t feel ok in next 24-48 hours to go straight back. Always better to be safe than sorry and will really help your mental health too having that extra reassurance x

I've been in twice this last week. They have checked the babies heartbeat both times and that usually triggers the baby to move around. The midwife said that 9/10 times everything is fine but they'd much rather you go in to check. She also said it's the things that most people come in for, so they fully expect it. X

Have you tried drinking a glass of cold juice and laying on your left side for a bit? Usually gets them going but deffo call if you are unsure or worried x
