We've used a duvet in a cot for the last 6ish months! My little girl loves it and keeps her a lot warmer in the night🤗

@Jessica i'm seriously considering it, my little girl has been waking lately and i think it's because she's cold. does your little girl move around a lot in the cot, or does she tend to stay quite still?

She moves around quite a lot! She's always at the other end of the cot in the morning, the pillow and everything moved! But she knows if she's cold, she covers herself up🤗 Do it, you won't regret it. My girl loves having a duvet and loved picking a duvet set ect too🤗

@Jessica oh this is really reassuring, thank you so much!

I have used the quilt in the cot for a while now. My little girl spends 70% of the night cosleeping and has always co slept so she’s been used to one from my bed and loves hers. I found she started to grow out of her sleeping bags and like the other Jessica says my daughters the same and if she’s cold she just pulls covers back over her 😊

We introduced a duvet around a year old. It was hit and miss. She likes to sleep on top of it or sometimes it woke her up. Now most of the time she doesn't have it in. She has been waking up due to the cold so I've had her in fleece sleepsuits the past month or so, which has stopped her waking. That's another option for if you introduce it or not, or your LO doesn't like it. X

We’ve had a duvet in the cot since July as she started refusing to put her sleeping bag on. It took a few nights to figure it out and I usually try to tuck her in at the sides before I go to bed as she’s quite wriggly but I think once she’s in a deep sleep she’s pretty still 🤣
