Started co sleeping about 3 months
I started my son in crib around 2-3 months and started with naps in the crib. This transition worked well and we were in our owns beds by 3 months. Due in 2 weeks so no clue what that’ll look like but hopefully she sleeps well lol
We all coslept together 😅
Does your husband not want to co sleep too? I’ve seen lots of people do it from the start? Are you wanting to continue co sleeping or do you want to stop and transition into their crib/own room. I think if your husband doesn’t want to co sleep you’ll have to talk about it together. Because he probably misses you too and wants you back so you might need to transition your child from co sleeping so you can have that time back. That’s one reason we didn’t co sleep and why we switched baby to their room at 5.5 months is because we wanted our room back and that time together back
I co slept with my husband and baby from day one/ birth - we have a California king so the bed is a bit size able in comparison to others. when I had twins and they were newborns it was harder to sleep with everyone and be safe and so I didn’t I would either sleep again with one baby at a time or some nights we’d do all to a bed with me alone -up to the four month mark. As I write to you now one of my girls is in the bed with us. Their crib is in our room- they still nurse on demand and so I switch them out frequently throughout the night and they’re about 18 Months. This switching them out every two hours or so has been going on since birth I nurse shortly then they’re back to their crib which is in our room until the age of 2 at least
We have a bassinet that has a side that comes down so both our babies used a cosleeper bassinet from day 1. Lucky for him, my husband is able to sleep through anything if he really wants
My daughter is 4 and she’s still sleeping in bed with me. Lol dad sleeps in another room entirely. But mostly because we both snore lmao
Why are you in the guest room? Is the bed bigger? I co slept with my first from day one and with my second the same. My SO sleeps in the guest room when his snoring gets too loud. 😂
I coslept with me baby and hubby in the same bed from 3 weeks to six months then I put baby in his own room with gentle sleep training
@Brynne considering this when he gets back from his trip!!! We’re sleeping separately because his job is really demanding and he needs a good rest to do it.
We've been co sleeping I believe like by month 2. Just was easier we have a king size bed so it's easy to have so distance between us and the baby
@Gabrielle my baby sleeps so good when I sleep with him and I have a toddler so I need to have a decent nights sleep too. We don’t plan to stop anytime soon. I do set him down and leave him in a safe place for naps and while I put my toddler down so he’s okay on his own for short stints. We are sleeping separately because my husband is a really light sleeper and those newborn grunts kept him up (I slept through it 😅) and he couldn’t function at work.
@Favi 🐄💕 I need to drug my husband so we can be in the same room lol he’s such a light sleeper these days. My son is to big for his bassinet he’s like 10 inches shorter and 10 lbs lighter than my 2.5 year old.
@Hayley lol! No it’s a smaller bed but it’s more firm and my husband wakes before us so his rustling around and toilet flushing would wake the baby at first. It just worked out better having our son in the guest room! And I have a safe place to get ready and relax during naps.

@Sophie how did you do gentle sleep training? Right now I nurse my son to sleep sometimes in able to lay with him but most the time I have to rock him and transfers are getting harder. The crib is an absolute no but with the bed I can at least pretend we were laying there the whole time when his eyes pop open lol!
We've always all coslept together. When my son was younger I just made sure he was always the other side of me and not in the middle of us. My partner has always slept through the wake ups even being in the same bed 😅 he never wanted to leave the bed and we didn't have another bed in the house to use anyway.
We’ve co slept from 4 months and we have always all slept in the same room; same bed.
@Sarah 🎀 sounds like my son and daughter... He was born almost half her weight at the time 🤣 Maybe you should drug him 👀🙈
I co slept with my son for 2 months alone after he got out of the nicu cause day was deployed. He stayed in the bed with us till like 9 months ish then we started trying to out him in his bed more cause I was pregnant. And my daughter we have from day one. She’d start in the bassinet and end in the bed. I had a c section so in the night it was easier on me so I didn’t have to lift her out. I was already healed by the time my son came home
Coslept since birth with both my girls, eldest was in her own room around 2 years old on a floor bed ❤️
We have always co slept with our 4 year old but now we can not get her out of our bed
Around 8.5 months when I got Covid she started sleeping in her room alone
@Favi 🐄💕 🤣
We co sleep with our son but we put the baby in the dock a tot to make sure that he has enough space and it works fine. We enjoy that time as a family. We don’t always cosleep with him though.
Co slept in little ones bedroom with my first until about 8 weeks then in cot at end of our bed. Second co slept in same bed as me and partner for about 6 weeks.
From 4 months she co slept with myself and her dad Xx
My son had a hard time sleeping independently so we coslept since the newborn stage. Having hubby in the same bed helped when I was recovering from csection because he could get up and help with the bottle faster than I could. He’s 5 months old now and trying to transition him to the crib which is in our room, but still sleeping most nights in bed with us. We don’t have the luxury of a second bedroom so it just works this way for us. As long as hubby doesn’t roll on the baby it should be fine, us moms are better at protecting the baby generally so just use your best judgement and follow the safe 7 as best you can
My son’s dad slept in the guest room bc he snores horribly and would wake the baby up. My son was also a very light sleeper and I would wake up sore with kinks in my neck bc if I moved a single muscle he would wake up…so I would lay in the same position for 5+ hrs. That did not work. I moved him to his room/crib at 6months. It was so nice having my room and bathroom back.
send hubby to the guest room 🤭
