Raynaud's of the nipple

I've developed what I'm sure is Raynaud's in my nipples in the last couple of weeks and it's agony! Whenever I feel cold my nips go really hard, turn white and start burning. This lasts for around 10-15 minutes, even if I'm able to warm up quite quickly. Has anyone else experienced this and found anything that helped? I forgot to mention it to my midwife the other day but I feel she'll just tell me to 'keep warm' anyway! I just hope it's not going to affect my ability to breastfeed...

I have this too, and had it in my last pregnancy as well. It didn’t affect breastfeeding at all. It is super painful though so completely understand your discomfort Xx

@Nicola thanks for replying! Glad to hear it didn't affect breastfeeding at all 😊 it is painful 😅 xx

I have had the same thing, it affects my right side more than my left. I’ve had it on and off since 20 weeks. I bought disposable hand warmers so if it’s very cold out I pop them in my bra to help prevent it or help get through it if I do get it. I am planning on BF too. Good luck
