@Adele we tried extending his windows which has meant bedtime is pushing back late… it can take an hour at the moment for him to go to sleep!
What does his day look like in general eg wake up time / first nap time and length
@Adele if 2 naps wake up at 7 First nap at 10.30 Can vary from 30mins- 1.5hours Second nap roughly 3.30- 4 but he has been refusing this Bedtime 7.30 roughly First nap is never an issue to go to sleep but he can sleep as little as 30mins (rarely over an hour now) When we lengthen his windows we struggle to fit it all in 😂 We were considering trying a 1 nap day
And I suppose you’ve tried shortening that wake window too? I adjusted my little one (10.5 months) by just 10 mins last week and got over an hour out of him for the first time in a while for his first nap. If you’ve eliminated hunger, cold, darkness etc it could be a regression? I think they’re too small to survive on 1 nap at this age but obviously every baby is different and you know yours best ♥️ and it looks like wake windows are quite long already. Do the windows lengthen throughout the day ? eg mine are 6:30 wake 3 hours awake 9:30-10:30 nap 3 hours 45 awake 2:15-3pm nap (we cap this nap so day doesnt end up being too long) 4 + hours awake 7pm ish bed we adjust accordingly so Saturday he woke at 5am and ended up going to bed nearer 6pm
@Adele yeah that was the first thing we tried as I thought he was over tired when being difficult at bedtime but it made no difference to his second nap. About a month ago he was poorly in hospital so was awake for hours and hours… I was wondering if since then he’s just coping with longer as he was almost forced to do it (I have no idea if that’s a thing) Everything I’ve read says they are too young but I don’t actually know how to squeeze more in.. he seems to sleep less when he has 2 naps haha
If he seems to sleep less on 2 naps maybe sack off the last one and do an earlier bedtime? Baby sleep is sooo tricky as even 10 minutes is such a long time for them 🫠🫠🫠 I hope you manage to find something that works ❤️🩹

Do you need to lengthen the wake window? Maybe try 15 minutes later tomorrow
