I had really bad heartburn when pregnant. The only thing that worked for me was omeprazole, which the doctor prescribed to me.
I feel gross I just do Fire burps all day
This has pretty much been my pregnancy, it’s unrelentless 😅🙈 I got prescribed something from the midwife as I have heartburn that bad it all comes up and I end up throwing up. Maybe talk to them about it and say its affecting what you can do daily as its that bad. I can’t sleep very well, have to be mainly upright and cant lie on my right side at all without getting really bad reflux straight away. Yesterday I ran out so I got some of the gaviscon chewable tablets and they work almost instantly. Not for as long but they definitely take the edge off. I found chocolate, some fruits and juices set off my heartburn so Ive been avoiding those. And also toast for some reason? If i have toast in the morning the rest of the day is pretty much game over 😅 I hope it gets better for you. You are doing so well ♥️
I had horrible heart burn even before I was pregnant, so I was definitely scared for pregnancy. You can't take PPIs so I tried looking for things other than meds. What really works for me wasn't waiting tomatoes, vinegar, red meat, pork, and not drinking things that can trigger it. I ate very small meals and tried to limit how much dairy I was taking in. I know it sounds like a lot but I actually felt better than I had in a very long time. I hope you get some relief soon..
