Help please 😭💔

My 10 month old does not sleep. She never has. She is up and down all night long. I’ve tried everything. I’ve cut her naps, I’ve let her cry it out, I’ve snuggled, I’ve rocked her in the pram, I’ve tried a different bed. I’ve tried giving her a bigger feed before bed, I’ve tried giving her less before bed. I’ve been to the doctors, tried omeprazole, changed her to formula… You name it, I’ve tried it. I’m literally at my wits end. She CAN self soothe. She can get herself to sleep at the start of the night but she WILL NOT stay asleep. Please someone give me some advice 😭😭😭

As a FTM I think it is what is it is my son has never slept through the night he’s 8 months no matter what I’ve tried he still wakes up 😭 I’ve just gotten used to it at this rate x

I’m also commenting hoping someone has tips

My 1yr old just started sleeping through the night, (it’s only been like 3 days so I don’t know if it’s going to last) but we started using a heater and she now magically sleeps through the night. She would always wake up once between 2-4 and we would have to change her diaper and give her a bottle. I figured maybe she’s getting cold even with the correct clothing a sleep sack for the temp in her room. So far, so good!

Isn’t there a 9 month sleep regression ? Is she teething? If either of these are the case, unfortunately you will have to ride them out. Is she eating enough before bed?

@Jadie I think there a 4,6,8,12,18 and 24 month if you look it up my son has never slept through so I feel like I’ve had sleep regression since day dot ahaha I’ve just had to ride it out

Some babies are up every hour and sometimes more frequently..mine is one of those

It’s the luck of the draw with babies. My only advice is never wake a sleeping baby. You’d think cutting a nap would help but it does the opposite effect. An overtired baby won’t sleep well.

Do you cosleep? My only advice is to try looking up the safe sleep 7 and giving it a go if you feel you can as it's the only way my baby will sleep too!

It's worth having a look at this. Our little one is similar & really struggles with sleep. He's breastfed & apparently their iron needs are quite high at this age. We've tried giving him iron & seen a good improvement. If you are formula feeding this is less likely to be a problem. https://www.heavensentsleep.com/blog/can-low-iron-affect-baby-sleep Here is an article on the subject https://www.jpeds.com/article/S0022-3476(15)00734-9/fulltext

Co sleeping and a cranial osteopath - that’s my recommendation :) It’s brutal! My first was the same.. slept through at 2. My second is the same… we are up every 1-2 hours. I’m not fighting it this time, I’m just meeting him where he’s at and finding ways to survive it!

We just did a baby sleep coach and she’s doing 7-7 for first time ever. Not every night yet but a vast improvement on the 5-7 nightly wakes. Main takeaways are plenty of solids in day and protein at lunch. She’s on about double what I was giving her before. And sort naps out with 4.5 hour final wake window which I thought was too long but she copes with great.
