@Ebunoluwa how do you handle the work day? That's what I'm stressed about the most. She is already in a low weight percentile
I have heard it helps since LO is not used to a bottle no more to let dad or anyone else that’s not you give the bottle instead once you see theres a bottle she kinda takes till she learns how to take it
I had to move my work up until she was 6 months old. I introduced foods. She started eating. And also I pump breast milk for her so her teacher will give it inside cup with no lids for her to drink. Sometimes if that doesn’t work. They try with a syringe
Only thing that worked for us were the Lansinoh bottles which were recommended by lots of women on here. Make sure milk is warm and we started by breastfeeding and then slipping the bottle in, making sure the teat is pointed to the roof of her mouth where the nipple would go. Once latched you can then hold it horizontally and pace feed. Took a few goes and now we just give one a week so she stays familiar with it. Other tips people recommend is someone else giving the bottle, distracting baby by singing or holding a toy, having baby in bouncer/standing up and feeding and not trying the bottle when she’s hungry x
Heya, I had the same situation with my baby and it was incredibly distressing. We followed the advice from this blog and it was really helpful. It took a while but a lot of patience we were able to make it work in the end! We also ended up trying just about every available bottle & teat in the market before landing on one that she’d shown a preference. https://www.rachelobrienibclc.com/blog/what-to-do-when-your-breastfed-baby-wont-take-a-bottle-introducing-a-bottle-part-3/
No tips cos I went through same thing. Bottled fed from birth up until she was 3 weeks old and stopped. Tried to start again when she was 3 months. Never took it back again. She’s now 9 months and still won’t take it
