I’m so unsure what to do this time as I have had an emergency CS last time and the first was forceps both induced, I’m due in March and really don’t know what to do for the best. Would love a VBAC but my consultant said there is a risk of rupture after a CS x

Following but there will be an age gap of 18m between my children. I attempted a vbac last time however it failed and had to have a c section. I'm determined to try again for another vbac but I've made it clear that I want wireless monitoring and non hormonal inductions (if needed)

Yes, I have had five VBAC’s and my first one was only 17 months after my c-section. All my VBAC’s went quickly and smoothly each time.

I had a vbac 18 months apart. My first was an emergency c section. I had a c section booked with my second but had told myself that if baby came earlier id try for a vaginal. Baby ended up coming 2 weeks before c section date and It all worked out in the end x

@Zaina did you have to use induction? What did you do to progress your labour. I got to 3cm and it didn't progress with my second which ended in an emergancy c section xx

@Lauren for my first or second? With my first the cord was wrapped around his neck and i got upto 5cm dilated when his heart rate started dropping dangerously so they gave me an emergency section which im greatful for. With my second everything was fine. I didnt know if i wanted a vaginal (my midwife was very supportive with whichever road i went down) or a c section. I decided I would go for a c section as both pregnancies were pretty close together and I didnt want a uterine rupture BUT if my baby came before the set date then id atleast attempt vaginal. I ended up going into spontaneous labour and by the time i went into the hospital i was already 6cm dilated. They monitored me for a while and within 2 hours of coming to the hospital i was 10cm and ready to push. It all happened really fast. When i went into labour with my second baby it was during my neices birthday party and because i didnt wajt to ruin it i kept quiet and dealt with the pain..

When the pain got too much (around 11pm) i called the number my midwife had given me and they told me to come in. I didnt think id be 6cm dilated. My water didnt even break until i was about 9-10cm dilated
