4month sleep regression

Gosh I was expecting a regression but from my baby going 11 hours a night to 1.5 hours I have a very unhappy baby in the day as he’s so exhausted and at night I’m getting little to no sleep! Please say it doesn’t last too long

I think we’ve started too! She’s nearly 13 weeks, was sleeping 8-10 hours a night without waking the past couple months, but the last 1.5 weeks has been refusing sleep then waking several times during the night all chatty and playful. No advice atm 😁

@Helen yes this is us 😴😴

Our night sleep has improved after 3 weeks but not day naps!

Did you find any tell tale signs prior?! Like a warning 😂 Do your little ones self settle before the regression starts ect, I’m trying to mentally prepare as we’re are 13weeks tomorrow 😖😖

No tell tale signs but id say our day naps shortened first before night sleep seemed to be affected although I don't know why/how this could be x

Do u bf or formula feed your baby? If u bf, would u ever consider co-sleeping? With my first the regression hit us like a tonne of bricks and I powered thru for another few months putting her down in her cot then caved and tried co-sleeping (following lullaby trust guidelines) and it helped a huge amount. My 2nd has discovered her thumb which has been an absolute game changer this time round. That being said, I’ve heard of plenty of babies that have disturbed nights for a few weeks and then settle back down :) you’re doing so well!
