There are gentle ways of doing it. It might be quite traumatic if you go from cuddles to sleep to their own room just like that. This sleep consultant offers a lot of great advice. https://www.instagram.com/happycosleeper?igsh=cTJ5aXdmdjc5ZjJx
Following as we are looking to move LO to her own bedroom soon. I would like to reduce sleep training / crying as much as possible but I know I’m gonna have to restrain myself from running over at the first sign of crying
I didn’t use a sleep consultant, but my little girl was such a good sleeper as a baby but hit the 10 month sleep regression and she never recovered 😅 I know controversial but we decided to let her cry it out, took her 2 nights to sleep through and we haven’t looked back. Feel free to message me about it xx
Hi, I did controlled crying just after my son was one. By night 3 in slept through with about 2 mins of crying. It’s hard but I found it did work. He is now 20 months and sleeps from about 7.30 to just before 7am with no tears unless over tired x
