Little one hates her cot! help
Our little girl hates her cot. She just seems to know when she’s being put down in it and immediately wakes up. If we manage to put her down she’ll wake up within a few hours and will not go back down. One of us sleeps with her in the spare room because we are just too exhausted in the evening. We’ve tried everything from playing in the room to night lights to soothing music.
We’ve thought about getting rid of the cot and just getting a floor bed. Any tips welcome! Thanks

My little ones in a toddler floor bed working great for us, I just sit on the floor at bedtime and he goes to sleep. We did have a couple of nights he would appear in my room but stopped in a few days😊 xx

My daughter has ALWAYS hated her cot, when in her cot she would wake up after 20 minutes and it would take me up to 2 hours trying to get her back to sleep so with a lack of support I was absolutely exhausted, barely able to function so we ended up co sleeping (following the lullaby trust guidelines etc) that’s what worked best for us, especially with my daughter having been breastfed and never taking a bottle or dummy I’ve recently started trying to get her to have naps on her floorbed (she’s always contact napped) and she is doing so much better on a floorbed rather than a cot so I’d definitely recommend trying the floorbed xx
