We have the baby Einstein jumperoo. She's only in it for a max 20 minutes a day (normally whilst we eat tea) definitely hasn't stunted her development she doesn't stop rolling and is sitting independently. And she absolutely LOVES it xx
@Natalie this is what I’ve been looking at! I wouldn’t let her be in it for any longer than 20 minutes..thank you!!
We have both, jumperoo is a bit of a saviour in a morning while I jump in the shower. And then baby walker at my mums house. My little boy is very active, crawling and pulling himself up so sometimes he needs containing for his safety and my sanity🤣
@Chantaya thats a good idea!! My mum wanted to get one for her house so I’ll suggest her getting the walker for hers! Thank you for your comment!
Not helpful but i got two babies and got one a walker (a free standing one not one that you put baby into but the playful part detaches from the frame so they can sit on the floor and play with it) and the other a Jumperoo. I think they both are great for different stages. At the same time my first hated the Jumperoo! He would cry hysterically if i even tried to put him in it.
This is my second born. My first born had both a jumperoo and a walker. She has no hip issues or any other issues for that matter (touch wood) Using a jumperoo and/or walker are not bad and will not cause harm to your baby. Obviously if you left them in it all day every day, it would affect them. As would doing anything for prolonged periods of time. I personally use both again second baby and use them with appropriate time restraints. Everything in moderation x
Thank you all so much!! Really appreciate it!
Personally I wouldn't recommend either. Jumparoo isn't faultless as it's been linked with delayed development, muscle development problems, hip issues, as well as it being a safety hazard at times. I think definitely have a look into age appriopriate toys from ELC for example and/or books, a large playmat for baby to spend some time playing on the floor, etc.
