Pelvic girdle pain

Has anyone else experienced this? I’m 29 weeks pregnant and have just recently started having this. The pain can be unbearable sometimes 🥺 - never had it before and really struggling. Any tips to ease pain would be gratefully appreciated

I think I had it but it was in relation to runbing. Are you possibly doing too much walking or physical activity? I stopped running and the pain stopped a few days later.

I think I’m in the same boat, haven’t been officially diagnosed yet but I’m sooo sure it’s pgp. I’m in excruciating pain all in my hips my bum my pelvis and my thighs, I can’t walk for long and when I’m standing up (like on the train if noone’s bothered to get up for me) I literally feel like my lower half is on fire. It also stops me from sleeping and the only relief I get is when my knees are up but I was told that’s bad for pregnant people. I’m 30 weeks. I need to speak to my midwife because I proper can’t continue like this, it hurts but then at the same time I don’t wanna complain because labour will obviously be worse. I feel you girl!!

It is very common unfortunately! You can tell your midwife and she can reffer you to physio. Mine told me to try sit with legs closed and on a yoga ball!

I’ve bought one of the baby go pregnancy support belts off Amazon x

Struggling with this too, hip pain and pain in crotch, pelvic area when turning in bed or when standing especially if on one leg when wearing slippers etc. Afraid it will keep on getting worse as week 28 has just started.

Pregnancy ball every evening when watching tv before bed, physio (some areas allow you to sell refer, check google), keeping knees together when turning in bed or getting in and out of car, pregnancy pillow - all help.
