For those who co sleep…

If you co sleep how do you manage to get any evening time to yourself and with your partner? I’d love to just have an hour or so in the evening to watch a show or catch up on stuff but I’m going to bed with my LO as he breastfeeds to go to sleep and I just fall asleep with him as I’m often so tired I need to but would like to maybe try and get my evenings back a bit if possible. Anyone have any tips on how they manage this?

My little One only had 1.5 hour nap today so has gone to bed earlier than normal Which is nice!

Travel cot for the first part of the evening! This has been our lifesaver getting her used to doing 2 - 3 hours in there!

My LO sleeps in our bed from 7pm till 9/9:30pm which is when I go to bed. We have the camera on her while we get a couple of hours

@Eleanor we used to have him in his cot for the first few hours but he absolutely refuses this now which is making things harder! 😭😩 x

@Zoe this is what I’m thinking of doing! Does your LO fall asleep on her own or need you with her to fall asleep I’m worried if I get up he will just wake instantly xx

I’m getting all the cuddles I can while she’s still young, so she will fall asleep on me then she will either push off me or I’ll put her down. Majority of the time she will sleep through but occasionally she will wake and I’ll go up and settle her x

No harm in trying to see if it works for you x

We are going to start taking time off work for date days whilst little one is at nursery

Ahh no! I really persevered over two weeks to get her two. She has her phases though like last 3 nights she’s not been a fan at all and I’ve just ended up going to bed
