Next to me or bassinet

Is there a benefit for buying a next-to-me style crib rather than a bassinet? What do people recommend?

I’ve got a next to me for upstairs, Moses basket for downstairs x

Most babies don’t like sleeping in Moses baskets but prefer the bedside cribs plus you make more use of the bedside crib as they go upto 6 months of age but Moses basket goes upto when they roll so about 3 months ish

I’ve done the same as Victoria. Argos have the Tutti Bambini cozee for £100 at the moment btw

I would say next to me will last longer and your baby can see you. That still didn’t help my daughter sleep in it 😂 we used ours as a storage as she would only sleep glued to me. Luckily our snuzpod was given to us as it would have been waste of money. This baby might be different and will actually like sleeping there, as I’m hoping.

Snuzpods are ALWAYS coming up on marketplace, never pay more than £45 for one then buy a brand new mattess! It’s a good size NTM and at least then you don’t feel like you’ve thrown away money if it’s not used as much 💪🏻

The next to me usually last you longer than a bassinet, I found both my boys outgrew their bassinet around 4 monthe but were fine in the next to me for 6+ months! X
