Sleeping position

My 8 month old sleeps on her belly with her booty in the air and ALMOST every night she pees out her diaper. At first I thought it was because we needed to up her diaper size so we did that but it was still happening. Next we got the overnighter diapers and she still leaks out of them. We do feed her a bottle right before bed because it's the only way she will fall asleep. I feel bad that she is always soaked in pee when she wakes up and I'm getting tired of changing the sheets everyday lol. Has any others mamas had this issue? I'm willing to try anything at this point.

My daughter sleeps exactly like that as well and it’s always so soo full only in the front but thankfully havnt had any leaks yet we do size up one size for night time

What does she wear to bed? I heard some babies get into that position when they’re chilly. Maybe you could try a warmer sleep sack and see if she sleeps flat?

My daughter does the same thing!! I’m having to change her sheets and her sleep sack every night. I also tried overnight diapers and they don’t work!!!

My pediatrician said that sleeping position is the sign of a healthy baby, so at least that's good

I did a size up in overnight diapers (Huggies) and when I put them on her I put adjust them to be as high as I can get them in the front if that makes sense lol

@Kate she usually has a onsie, pants and socks. We also have a heater in her room because she has gotten cold in the past. I'll have to try one of those sleep sacks.

@Maddy same!!! It gets so frustrating, I dunno how to help her.

@Adrianna yeah that makes sense. I have tried that, like up higher than her belly button lol.

my 8m old sleeps like this when shes cold! their toes will tell you how cold or warm they are ♥️

@Gypsy I’d try swapping the pants out for a fleecy sleep sack! And if that doesn’t work, I’d go insane and put her diaper on backwards 😂

I have the same issue with my son. The only thing that has worked for us most nights in the past is pampers swaddlers, sometimes sizing up.

@Kate 🤣🤣 thanks so much for the ideas! I will definitely try that.

My daughter is the exact same way! We just sized up on diapers and put a extra one on her 😂 bc that’s the only way she won’t leak out of them it might be a dumb idea but it works rn

One of my twins sleeps the same way and I had the same issue I sized up on a pampers swaddle diapers because I did notice the Huggies one would leak. So far we haven’t had issues. Only thing like a mom mentioned is that she had a very full diaper in the front for the most part.

Another thing you can try is putting a diaper booster pad in the front of the diaper. If you can't find booster pads, then incontinence or period pads work as well. I'll sometimes do this, and it works in a pinch.

My son does this only when in his car seat. I don't have answers but if it was a night time problem I'd put pee pads down

My 8 months i had to change him to size three at 6 months but with pampers bec that’s the only one that holds.
