It’s on a schedule.

We have our thermostat set to 18 upstairs so if it drops below it will kick in

On a schedule but off at night. Only comes on in the morning to take the chill off and then before my daughter goes for bed.

Always on timer but I live in the uk it’s soo cold here and if u don’t put the heating on in winter u will get mold

There is a thermostat, it goes on only if it gets too cold.

Goes on at 16:30 and off at 21:30. If I’m in during the day I will also put it on for a few hours then as well.

If it’s 40 degrees, then yes

It's set to a specific temp. If it gets 2 degrees below that it kicks on. We also have an oil furnace, if it drops below 50° inside the oil heat kicks on. And sometimes when it's sub zero we light our wood furnace in the evening and let it burn out over night

Ours is set to 18 on a thermostat overnight so if it’s below that it kicks in

Ours is on auto. Goes on when the temp drops below whatever it's set to.

We’ve got a timer on and then also got it set to 17 so if it drops below that it will come on to get it back to that
