Feeding??

My 3 week old was on anywhere between 70 and 90ml at 2 weeks.. he is now 3 weeks and having anywhere between 90 and 120

My baby boy (2wks 1 day) is the same just started him on 4oz yesterday as he was necking the 3oz bottles easily, I asked the midwife and she said 4 oz is fine, and to feed to the babies demands xx

My baby is 2 weeks today and has been on 4oz for the last 4/5 days. As long as your baby isn’t showing signs of being over fed (excessive spit up, vomiting, extreme discomfort after feeds etc) then it’s absolutely fine and means you have a growing girl! 💪🏼 plus, if she’s a bigger baby anyway then she’d naturally eat more than a 6/7lb newborn!

@Lucy thank you, she does spit up and midwife just said it’s normal for her to do that but if she doesn’t finish the bottle then she wakes up most of the time every hour and wants more so have hardly got any sleep cause of it

Our three week old fed nearly 5oz this morning!! He just left a little drizzle in the bottle. He’s been taking around 4oz the last week or so. He was a 9lb baby at birth x

Our 16 day old sometimes take 5oz! But sometimes just 2 - depending on how hungry she is at the time. HV and midwife all ok with it as she isn’t spitting up or being sick etc. baby will tell you when they’re hungry and how much they need 😊

Two week baby here and on 4oz toooo I also was overthinking if I was over feeding looks like I’m not the only one xxx

Awww bless you, the lack of sleep is a nightmare 😭 fingers crossed she starts settling more for you and allowing you to get some sleep!

The next two feeds he has only done 2oz… he hasn’t had that little of an amount since 1 week old 😂 Now we are wondering how come he was averaging 4oz… then today took 5oz and 2oz…

@Anna my girl does this. 5 weeks old and sometimes does a 5oz and sometimes only drinks 2. she has hungrier days than others
