Baby blankets

So how are we keeping blankets on our babies in their cot? 😅😂 My baby keeps kicking it off but she gets super cold… I’ve tried a swaddle sack and the love to dream sacks but she hates her arms being trapped… she’s still too little for a regular sleep sack so I’m kind of stuck! I’ve tried tucking the blanket but she somehow just untucks it and lays on it 🤦🏻‍♀️

We did long sleeve shirts and sleeveless sleep sacks so the arms are covered but free and the legs can still kick around but covered

@Olivia she’s only 7lbs and 3 weeks old so too little at the moment as most of the sleep sacks are from 8lbs… I have a few of those which I will use when she’s a little bigger but just struggling with a solution at the moment 😩

You can get thick sleep suits which have a tog, maybe try them x

Get the halo swaddles. You can wrap your baby three ways with it and one of them is with arms out. My daughter has been using them since birth and also likes her arms free

You can get newborn sleeveless sleep sacks. My LO was born 7lbs and has been in sleep sacks each night since getting home. M&S, tommee tippee and a few other brands do smaller newborn sleep sacks suitable for smaller babies

The warmest sleepers I ever found were 100% polyester ones from Disney baby they are super fluffy and keep baby super warm🥰

Tesco/asda/sainsburys have sleepsuits with 2.5tog in them, so no need for blankets xx
