Nursery disappointments

We started little girls nursery from September for 2 full days in a week. Everything is going okay and she doesn’t cry when we drop her off. Recently, some staff at nursery changed and I have seen older ladies who manage kids from afternoon to 6pm. I found my girl is being ignored or left alone to play by herself by new staff. She feels emotional and not connected well with them. I feel they don’t talk to her as previous staff. Also, one day they mentioned that they ran out of food and my girl wanted more. Can you imagine this after paying £76 per day? Another disappointment was when they mentioned blisters/nappy rash. My poor girl came with red marks and blisters. This happens only when poo isn’t cleaned on time. I remember we left it once for just 20 min and she developed red marks. They don’t give enough water too because my girl never ask for water by herself which she does after coming back from nursery. Should I raise these issues? I am only being concerned for my girl and others if this is the treatment they are getting at nursery because of poor management or supervision.

I’d 100% raise concerns especially with her wanting more food and none being available, also the fact she had blisters/nappy rash. It doesn’t really sit right with me. Hope it gets sorted and your little one feels happier xx

Same as above, definitely raise your concerns. This is your babies welfare and wellbeing at stake here, never sit on the fence with these niggly thoughts. You have every right to nit only voice them but also to see positive changes with immediate effect xx

Definitely raise it.

In my experience there are no good nursery exist. I changed one nursery to another only to find out the new nursery is even worse than old one. Definitely should raise a concern!

Raise your concerns and make sure its documented, if it continues escalate it with ofsted and take her to a different nursery x
