Cot mobiles

Looking for opinions. Are cot mobiles worth it? We’ve just bought a proper cot for our 6 month old and will be transitioning him into his own room in the next week or so. If you’ve bought a mobile for your baby, was it worth it? Do they look at it and enjoy it or not really?

My step-gran got my LO one. It was cute but once they pull up to standing it's gotta go. You might get a few months out of one.

Might be nice to get one that looks pretty later on in their room. My son had one with paper swans which started above his cot then hung from ceiling

Mine enjoyed his, he liked that it span around and would help him fall asleep watching it. However we took it down at about 8months as he started trying to pull it down but still found it beneficial for the time we had it and was only about £20 x
