Does anyone know if in the UK/England we get double child benefit in December?

@Katrina I thought this too! I have a friend who’s children are older 8-11 and she did get double at Christmas time but this was some years ago so maybe they’ve stopped it now

I went googling after seeing your post and it seems to be an Ireland thing rather than a UK thing. Don’t remember ever getting a double payment in December before.
