I personally would look into changing his milk if possible 🤔 it's just an idea x
I could have written this myself, I have an almost identical situation. My little boy is almost 4 months but 6 weeks corrected. I'm feel the same and used the same words myself with the groundhog day newborn
When I was in the nicu with my little girl I got told that premie babys tend to cry more so its totally normal that hes more fussy. We came home on oxygen too so i totally get the added stress! For me its also added to my anxiety as im scared she will get sick and need to go back to hospital but you do find a grove with going out with the tank and navigating it! Have you also been precribed gaviscon? We had both omeprazole and gaviscon for her reflux! But i know the pain of feeding taking so long! As a FTM ive just tried not to put pressure on my for having a routine etc…shes 6 months now (3 1/2 corrected) and weve only just started a routine but even then it changes a lot! Youve got this! Feel free to message me too if youd like🫶🏼
Hey , I totally feel your pain , my middle child was prem at 24wks, he's now almost 3 and I be honest he gets up several times in the night , nothing settles him unless I out on baby sensory..... the sleep thing i have asked docs etc is it a preemie thing as my eldest wasn't like this and my youngest isn't , baby 1 and 3 sleep great baby 2 - In a nice way very different- Yliits also very normal to compare as i do all the time! Is he on any special milk at all? Our son was initially put on sma in hospital, however he had really bad reflux so the neonatal doc said to stop that and try Aptimal pepti junior- Which is only on perscription and he settl3d down with that , initially we thought could be milk intolerance but as he got older with the help from dietician we moved to cows milk slowly and he's great! Our son has zero routine.... we can do the whole bath dinner bed and within 1hr he's awake again .... honestly i do find it hard and I feel your pain 😢
