Firstly you should take them to the GP, at 5 years old it won’t be considered cradle cap. should have a proper check, could be psoriasis, eczema, an allergy You need to know properly what it is to know the best way to treat it
My LB (nearly 5) has had it since being a baby. The only th8ng that's ever worked for us is rubbing baby oil into his hair to coat it and then combing through w8th a really fine toothed comb, like a nit comb. It's taking longer and longer to come back since we've done this. Going on 9 months since we last did it and still no sign of it coming back yet x
@Melody we already have been to the Gp & they said it was cradle cap
@Danielle in that case, dentinox shampoo & coconut oil works wonders!
@Freya thank you. I’ve done this tonight so hopefully it’ll do the trick x
@Freya I second baby oil and a nit comb! X
@Danielle finger's crossed for you xx
Head & shoulders? My 4yo has scalp psoriasis and the dermatologist has recommended that as part of her daily routine- and coconut oil (and many people use olive oil on babies to gently remove cradle cap)
