Thank you so much!!
I am from Europe, and I have an adress in UK, thats all...
Should be ok
I’ve been a citizen all my life but because I lived abroad for years. Everytime I use a hospital service. They send me a letter saying I might have to pay & I usually get it sorted pretty easily using that email… even though it’s a wee bit annoying
I'm not a citizen. On spouse visa. I have given birth there and was treated the same as a citizen. No charges. I'm not sure if it's because I paid NHS health surge charge during visa application. I was not asked about my citizenship status. The only time anything close to that came up was during my first midwife appointment when they asked about my country of birth. That's it. I'm not sure if this helps.
@Lea (name changed).. yes thank you for the help! Ive called them, to make sure, and apparently when your from the EEA countries, you are allowed for free NHS services! What a wonderful healthcare system
You should be able to find all the information from the home office, part of my job in a nhs trust involves charging overseas patients, double check youre entitled, make sure you have a ehic card, or insurance if needed Definitely use the email above to speak to someone from their overseas visitors team to get them to check if youre eligible or not
