Dropping down the next to me - advice?

Is it time to drop the next to me down to the bottom now he can pull himself up to standing? He only does it when he's properly awake but sometimes he also wakes in the night and crawls over to snuggle me without waking me so I think it probably is. How did anyone else find the transition

I think all of them vary, but I know ours was maximum 6 months and then as soon as they could do this then it wasn’t safe to use as it’s a fall hazard, so had to move him into his big cot x how old is he?

Ours said once they can pull up it’s not safe to use too, but until you can change it (if yours even says that too) definitely drop it as low as it’ll go x

Time for a big cot I think!

Yeah it's a travel cot as well so it drops right down to the bottom, don't have the energy to be putting him in the big cot yet because it doesn't fit in our room and he's still up every 2 hours in the night 😅

Its a big adjustment for us as its more effort putting them back down rather than for them! She sometimes wakes during transferring and it can take longer to put them down as I physically have to stand up and put her down now whereas before it was from the bed! Once actually there its the same honestly and less anxiety around whether shes going to fall out

We have this traveling playpen as soon as he can pull we take out the top one and let he sleep at the bottom which I found it really inconvenience So he sleep in our bed but we add bed railing to protect him from falling, he lis stronger now and love to shake it very very hard, so I think we soon gonna move him to floor bed

I have this baby gate around a queen mattress on the floor. I like it but there was a point in time where he could pull himself up and his head was heavier than his body so he'd try to reach for things on the other side of the gate and could flip out of it and end up flat on the floor. Was scary. So had to supervise closely. Now his body is heavier than his head so it's no longer a problem.

Thanks ladies! Going to drop it down and see how he goes, hopefully it won't be too bad transferring as the side drops down a chunk so should be a little easier!

Ours said as soon as they can stand it times to move into their cot

on a side note, could you please share where you got the Batman onesie? 😎
