I will say if you have a question about breathing bring them in. What we thought was just a routine hacking cough and a light wheeze from congestion turned out to be acute respiratory failure for my son. We called the nurse advice line for our insurance and they even downplayed it. We only ended up at the ER cause he couldn’t be seen by the doc in the next 8 hours it was 9pm at night. And when we got to the ER they were like oh he sounds find just congested to oh his oxygen is in the 80s and he’s breathing sounds worse.
Thank you guys. Ended up having to get ambulance as doctors wouldn’t open until another 2 hours and his breathing was worrying. Ended up having croup 😭 xxx
