LO not soothed in car

Any tips appreciated 🥲 baby won’t settle in car seat. It’s like a ticking time bomb where he starts to fuss and then will scream crying until he’s taken out. He stares at me from his mirror, I just think he can’t understand why he can see me but I’m not picking him up. I reach across and hold a dummy in his mouth (which is dangerous) and often the dummy doesn’t stop him crying either. Any tips much appreciated after another horrible journey 😭😭
