Regardless of delivery method, you still have an open wound from where the placenta detached. This is what you need to heal.
I waited 6 weeks cause I was too nervous to get an infection and I wanted to honor my body and let it heal. Although I will say the temptations were real so I don’t blame you! Wishing you the best of luck in not having any problems or complications or infections though mamas!
I did I just used a condom as my fear was around any infection :)
You could get pregnant because you are very fertile. That’s one reason they say not to. Also you could get an infection because of the wound on the outside and inside of you. So I’d keep that in mind the next like week if you start feeling terrible. I would definitely not do it again. You don’t want to risk anything more
