You are not a bad mom. Staying in a motel is an adventure for kids. You may look at this as a stressful experience, but they are going to remember that their mom was there for them and all the fun they had.

You have a roof over their heads and they are safe. You are not a bad mom. Keep going

Thank you girls so much you have no idea the mental war I been putting myself in ❤️

Your motel is probably as big as the RV we lived in. You are NOT a bad mom. The BEST decision I ever made as a mom was take me and my 3yo to the homeless shelter (in Texas), work their program, get a job & get housing. It ultimately led me to getting a job at a church, and a house to live in, I ultimately met my husband. You may want to contact the homeless shelters and ask what programs, if any, they have on getting housing.

You're not a bad mom!! They are warm, fed, and happy. Your 4 year old sounds smart and sweet! I'm sure it's hard on you, but try to make it fun. Act like it's an extended vacation for them. You're a mom, you can make everything great for them! It's our superpower!!

@Katherine 🥹 thank you and he is extremely smart for a 4 year old sometimes I think to much for his own good

@Jill I have called the shelters and I'm on a housing waiting list however I can't get into a shelter because where I live In order to be moved into a shelter you and or your family have to be legitimately sleeping out side or an abandoned place basically anywhere not meant for living. I know lying is an option but the fear of cps and it would make me feel horrible because there are babies legit sleeping on benches or in boxes with blankets and they deserve a warm place to stay just as much as my children
