She did used to pull her hair out and wrap it around her dummy? I’m not sure if it’s that? I immediately took her dummy away.

i'd say that's what she's doing even if you took away the dummy i think that's still what's shes doing maybe it's just a comfort she may just enjoy playing in her hair she may not even realise as she's still young that she's pulling it out i'd suggest for now just keep her hair pulled away from her face in a top bun for now also rub castor oil on the patch for now it will grow back and it's good it's in the middle of her head x
