Bed time / morning wake up

What time did your baby go to bed/wake up while still in the bassinet in your room? We can’t get my 2 month old to sleep any earlier than 10pm when we go to bed. I’m hoping when he is in his own room it will be easier to get him down early? This also means in the morning he sleeps in until around 9:30am 😳 his last wake to feed is around 7am but he usually falls right back asleep and I don’t fight it cause I like to go back to sleep too! Is this okay? I feel like I shouldn’t force us to start our day at 7am if he’s happy to fall back asleep for 2 more hours and the 10pm bed time works for us for now.

This was my schedule with my baby at 2 months, if you don’t like getting up early having a later bed time for your little one is actually great! Otherwise they may go to sleep at 7/8pm and then be wide awake at 7am

We've always done around 9pm for bedtime and he sleeps until 8:30-9. He's now 17 months and sleeps great. We moved him into his own room around 2 months and found he slept great.

At that young she it's definitely a trade off. Either you're getting up at 7 for the day and your LO goes to bed earlier, or LO is going to bed later so you can sleep longer in the morning 😅. Whichever you decide is totally okay, so just choose what feels best 🙂

This sounds similar to my schedule when mine were that small too. I never really enforced a sleep schedule until they got a little older and in their own rooms... even then it was probably pretty loosey-goosey until they were about 2

My two month old goes to bed at midnight every night, usually wakes up at 4 and 8 for feeds and then up for the day at 10 haha it’s just what works best for me right now cause I go to bed at midnight and we practice safe cosleep 7, but will need to figure out how to get him to go to bed earlier once he’s in his own crib or bed
