Dairy / gluten in breastmilk causing green poop and fussy baby?

Hey guys! Does anyone have any experience in your breastmilk causing an intolerance in your baby? This weekend I ate way more dairy and gluten than I normally would - and my baby has had green poop with little bits of green in it, where normally it’s that mustard colour ( he’s one month ) Also he just seems extra fussy and a bit irritated, especially around the boob :( feel so awful that something I’ve eaten has caused him discomfort, Google tells me this could be an intolerance to something I’ve eaten. Any advice or experience with this:)?

My baby’s poo went from mustard to green about 2 months ago (he’s 4 months old) and it’s rarely mustard anymore x

One off green isn't a sign of intolerance, my baby had green from about 2-4 weeks and it was a lactose overload (which used to be called foremilk/hindmilk imbalance) so we had to work through my fast let down and oversupply issues and it went mustardy again. But breastfed baby's poo can be a rainbow of colours! Green isn't usually a sign anything is wrong. Sometimes really dark army green or meconium green is a symptom that needs investigating The little bits in it are normal too

It could be a growth spurt? My older son had with all his allergies so I’m always second guessing if he’s ok or not but think at 5 weeks we’re experiencing this. Don’t cut any food without seeing the doctor but my tip would be to express some milk to freeze if you can. Should your baby have an allergy, you can use this milk to reintroduce the allergen rather than you having to reintroduce to your diet. My son with allergies was a fussy baby from week 2 and couldn’t lay down so you have my sympathy. It’s awful seeing them so sad! @Charley how did you work through the imbalance issue? I am currently feeding one side at a time as I think the fast let down is causing us issues - he’s been crying at the start of feeds occasionally.

@Leanne block feeding helped sort it out, so from midnight to 4am I only fed on the left (usually 2 feeds in that time) and 4am-8am only fed on the right (again usually 2 feeds in that time). 4 hours was enough for us but I know people who did 6 hours
