Don’t feel bad, I only found out after giving it to my son a few times
Lactose is different to the protein, so if baby has cmpa (and not lactose intolerance) then the powders are fine. We've been giving our cmpa baby Ashton and parsons teething powder with no discernable reaction.
My little girl is believed to be lactose intolerant too due to still reacting badly to the milks that weren’t the pure amino version🤦🏼♀️ what a nightmare I’ll contact her paediatrician! However, after a little bit of research, I do know the Ashton and Parsons teething gel is lactose free if that helps you at all!
Doctor recommended anbesol liquid and that really helps our little one. 😊
@Carys medical grade lactose so in prescriptions are fine but food grade and teething powders etc mostly still contain the protien of the milk unfortunately That's why many people don't use it Although you are right it's different to cmpa
We used teetha teething gel which really worked for us but alot of people use anbesol oil I think it is
Weleda granules x
Well don’t I feel like the worst mum in the world!!🫠 I had no idea about this and I’ve literally just left the doctors now due to concerns that my daughter has broken out in a rash all over a body and is constipated just like how she was before we had her diagnosed with the allergy and it coincides with when we’ve been given her a couple of sachets of tea powder a day since she started getting her first tooth this weekend🤦🏼♀️
