Potty training tips

My little boy 2 years old (3 end of Feb) has been doing really well practicing using the potty with me asking him (with nappy pants) for a few weeks now but has all of a sudden just decided to not bother whenever I ask him anymore. I have no idea how to encourage him or whether to just leave him and see if he will show some interest on his own as he's never used the potty without being prompted. Any tips welcome please?
