How to know if my baby has high iq

I am ok whatever intelligence my baby has. But I somehow feel his IQ is more, it's just an instinct and I don't want to neglect/ignore if it is , I want to make him utilize it and grow accordingly. But have anyone felt the same? Also what all your LO can say or do? I am saying this cos he remembers everything that we teach only once and even after days. He will tell our names, he is saying some numbers and alphabets, he says all eight planet names in his own language but we can understand it. Also many more. Ps: I am not a mom with high hopes. I always prioritize his health and happiness over his intelligence. But I don't want to neglect it just in case if he possess such abilities.

That is a very good question actually! I found this: https://study.com/academy/lesson/infant-creativity-and-intelligence.html

Thank you so much. I didn't know any mom would reply to my question. I am so glad for your answer ❤️ I will go through the link

Absolutely girl! Your baby definitely sounds like he has a gift and I would 100% be doing some research just like you are. We are raising the new generation of the people that will make a difference in this world ❤️

We feel the same way about our little girl, she can say over 70 words, can count to 10, knows some of the alphabet, knows the names of all of her close family members and the staff at nursery and she just seems to understand things in a way I wouldn't expect for this age but we're very conscious of not wanting to put too much pressure on her as a result and make that her whole personality x

@Ana Moore Aww . You spoke so preciously. Much love to you and the baby ❤️

@Monique she is so blessed . I know we aren't supposed to put pressure on them. But I believe if we don't make them utilize their IQ, it will eventually suppress. Do you have any plans of how to take it forward? Also how does she know all of these? Did she learn from you or her dad? Or nursery?

I think it's a combination of her going to nursery since she was 7 months old and we've always read to her loads but books that are probably a little bit older than her age range (Julia Donaldson books etc). She loves to learn and you can see she looks so happy with herself when she figures things out so we just make sure we keep giving her opportunity to learn new things and giving her lots of praise etc x

@Monique Yeah. Same with us too. Thanks for sharing. It was a helpful tip too :)

I just wanted to say @Monique im so glad someone else’s little one reads the Julia Donaldson books too! My son is obsessed! I mentioned it at playgroup and the worker was like “oh, I wouldn’t be reading them until they reached about 3yrs old! There are better more age appropriate books for his (my son) age!” She proceeded to tell me the little board books that repeat the words as he can then “catch on” to them😐. My son never liked them books! I have always read him actual books and he will want at least 3 of these books before bed every night! They’re apparently not long enough for him🤦🏽‍♀️. I’m not raising a little genius though (he doesn’t speak still 🥴😂)
