We usually do fish or a veggie “meat” Greens, black eyed peas, mashed potatoes, gravy, Mac n cheese, yams But this year… we’re doing something new and everyone’s just bringing a dish they like to make/buy so we’ll see how that goes

Am in Scotland, I am doing turkey, stuffing, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, sprouts, carrots, mini sausage wrapped in bacon, gravy that's just the main 🙈 will make homemade soup, prawns and cheesecake then cheese and biscuits

Similar to thanksgiving. Or we get a spit baby lamb or calf and carve from that all night as it’s cooking, w a bunch of sides. Dessert is usually pavlova and fruits. Last couple of years Xmas has gone from lunch til late night so we carve from the spit and have 2nd and 3rd sessions from that

In the UK (England) and we usually do minted lamb shanks, roast chicken, potatoes, honey roasted parsnips, carrots, onions etc and some spring rolls, filo prawns. We always have some smoked salmon on small squares of toasted bread on one of the days (my teen daughter and I's favourite) and then maybe a dessert like apple pie or apple/rhubarb crumble and custard and ice cream maybe. Then chocolates are available all day and fruits.

I’m in Ontario, for appetizers probably a shrimp ring and a cheese board, maybe some mini sausage rolls. And for dinner ill make turkey and ham, gravy, squash or turnip, maple roast carrots, green beans or roast Brussels sprouts with bacon, and someone will bring scalloped potatoes, mac and cheese, and buns. For desert I’ve made a dark Christmas cake and I’ll do a trifle too if I get my shit together lol someone will probably bring another desert option too.

My family do Turkey and gammon ham his do beef and lamb, then they both do roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, roasted carrots and parsnips, cauliflower cheese, Brussels sprouts, pigs in blankets, gravy , bread on the side and we usually bring a baked Camembert In the UK and this is typical, Xmas dinner here is like an extravagant roast, and very different it seems to US, I don’t even know what half the US thanksgiving food is 🤣 but I’m sure they may think the same with our Yorkshire puddings etc

I'm making pernil, arroz con gandules, & mashed sweet potato with marshmallows. My mom is making a flan. My wife's parents are making potato salad, a honey baked ham, toasted rolls, a meat & cheese spread, olives, pickles, green beans, and will probably have some sort of coconut cake thing.

Damn you ladies are going all out! All I was going to make was pozole verde and for apps fruit & vege platter and cheesecake and apple pie for dessert.
