Feeling so old lol

Does anyone else feel 100 years old like almost arthritic postpartum?? Everything is so achy and sore... trying to run was horrible on my knees and ankles. Getting up or out of bed is embarrassing. Just wondering if it's from disuse, hormones, lack of sleep or something else. I am six months pp, still have some extra weight but I don't think enough to cause this. Maybe from all the shifting of the body?

I'm noticing it a lot in my hands and ankles/feet

I have noticed this too! A lot in my fingers and knees. 5.5 months pp with my second. I don’t think I felt this way with my first which was 2.5 years ago

Yes ugh I am also 6 months pp and my mobility has been destroyed 😭😭 I was so much more mobile before I had a baby, I could squat and stretch in different positions and now if I sit on my knees or squat my foot cramps up and I can barely get up off the floor and I am only 24 😂 I hope it gets better with time and exercise lol

I think the soreness is from pregnancy hormones like relaxin. And I dunno why it lingers after birth too, cause my knees make me feel like a grandma. But I have noticed as time goes by, very slowly, my knees are feeling better. So I’m hoping it’s really from hormones not from being old

Absolutely… it worsens if I don’t get enough sleep. And it’s definitely been worse since having my second. Before it was only my hips shoulders and knees, but now it all that plus fingers wrists back and sometimes my feet. I do a combination of ibuprofen, bubble baths and trying to get extra sleep when I can. Trying to find time to eventually go get a massage
