This thought dawned on me...

(by the way back home it was a shitshow I don't even want to talk about it) . . Anywho! . . If there was an experiment that was approved and safe that kept your baby at a certain age would you do it? We often hear people say I wish they could stay little forever. Or please don't grow. So let's say this experiment allowed for this to happen. (Sci-fi vibes) I mean we are not too far off given artificial insemination (nothing wrong with it). But let's say this would be the future in family planning. Would you do it?...

Don't take this literal it's hypothetical and just for fun.

I wouldn't do it. But I don't think any of the poll options are the correct answer for me.

@Brianne which poll option would you have wanted?

@Violeta💕 maybe just a straight no I wouldn't do it. I don't think it's bizarre to consider just wouldn't be something I'd choose. I also am not flabbergasted. But I don't think it's absurd to think of hypothetical things like this. I think it's a healthy brain activity.

I feel the same as Brianne! Watching our children grow up is so bitter sweet, they're adorable when they're little but they're also very hard work.. I don't think I could be stuck with a hard day with a toddler on a loop... ESPECIALLY if I'm still going to age! 🧓😂 I'll miss these days when she's grown up but I'll be proud watching the next chapter of her life! ❀

Will they stay little but mentally develop? lol I think that would be creepy but less work

@Lily this is an interesting thought! I think if they mentally grew up it would be super weird changing diapers and still having to prepare meals for the incapable bodies. Lol

@Lily oh and imagine bath time with a toddler body you have to bathe but having like adult conversations. 😆

@Brianne I can not đŸ˜©. But this would defeat the purpose!

@Lily I see what you're saying but then you would just have a tiny adult. Lol

@Lily that's so creepy! All I can imagine is Stewie from Family Guy! 😂😂😂

I wouldn’t want to keep them as a newborn or any stage forever but maybe just a little longer in each stage than what we get (age 2 would be questionable maybe make that go faster 🙈)

I think people just say this is as the time flys by so fast, but it really is a (painful) joy to watch them grow every day đŸ„ș

I would consider but only if I could restart the growing process again... Because I couldn't imagine doing it and then as I age they don't and who would look after them when I died 😔 morbid I know but it's true

Maybe if it made time slow down I would say yes so they grew up slower. As much as I love them being small and would love them to stay small the most fullfilling part of parenting has been watching them grow and learn.

I wouldn't. As bittersweet as it can be to watch them grow, I also know that's my job to help them grow.

No. I don’t want to control my children’s bodies. They are my children but they are their own people too and they don’t exist to make me happy

I'd consider having them around 7/8. Old enough to be fairly independent but young enough to still find spending time with us fun

Absolutely not that's not how time should ever work. Watching your children grow is part of the beauty of life

I wouldn’t. I used to say this until a friend of mine lost her 4 year old in a tragic car wreck. I am sure she wishes she could’ve seen her child get bigger and grow older and now she can’t. Idk just put things into perspective for me.

I would do it if it was temporary, lol, like I would give anything to hold my oldest as a newborn again and smell her little head - BUT I wouldn’t trade that for who she is now at 9 years old, and I can’t wait to see who she is at 18 years old. So if it’s temporary just to reminisce then yes, if it’s permanent then definitely not

No, I love my babies and when I say I wish they would stay little I am admiring how beautiful my babies are and how much they are growing ect. They have to grow up :/

I would may the first year last two years but that’s it. Just slow it all down
